Liverpool have agreed a new deal with the 90-goal wonderkid Antoine Griezmann loves

Keyrol Figueroa has become the latest Liverpool starlet to sign his first professional contract with the club.

The son of former Wigan Athletic and Hull City star Maynor Figueroa, the 17-year-old joined the Reds at under-14 level and has since proved a prolific and versatile striker in Liverpool’s youth ranks – after scoring 90 goals in one. season for the Reds Under-13 and Under-14 after first joining the club.




Despite missing much of this season through injury and international obligations, the teenager marked his latest return with a goal off the bench in the Under-18s’ 4-2 defeat to Wolves at the end of last month. Figueroa now has three goals and two assists from nine appearances for the under-18s in the U18 Premier League and FA Youth Cup this season.

The striker has yet to break into the Under-21s, but has established himself on the international stage with the United States. An Under-17 international, he scored seven goals to help his country reach the final of last year’s CONCACAF U17 Championship, while he also scored once at the Under-17 World Cup last November as the USA lost in against Germany in the round of 16. .

Making his Liverpool under-18 debut at the age of 15 in October 2021, he fully established himself in Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s side after returning from last season’s CONCACAF U17 Championships.

He would score a goal (his first at the level) and assist in the return against Nottingham Forest as he was handed his first start in a 2–2 draw. He would later go on to score a hat-trick in a 3-0 win over Wolves, finishing the U18 Premier League season with four goals and three assists from seven starts.
