Meanwhile, Cementos Argos SA (BVC: ) added 1.62% or 120.00 points to end at 7,530.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC: ) was up 0.99% or 120.00 points, up to 12,280.00 at the end of transactions.

The worst performers of the session were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:), which declined 2.37% or 420.00 points to trade at 17,280.00 at the close. Grupo Energia Bogota SA ESP (BVC: ) declined 2.15% or 55.00 points to end at 2,505.00 and Organization Terpel SA (BVC:) decreased 1.96% or 200.00 points to 10,000.00.

US C coffee for December delivery rose 1.08% or 2.90 to $272.05. Elsewhere in commodity trading, US cocoa for December delivery fell 6.47% or 536.00 to settle at $7,745.00, while December gold futures fell 0.44% or 11.70 to trade at $2,656.40 a troy ounce.

USD/COP rose 0.05% to 4,194.00, while BRL/COP rose 0.20% to 769.67.

US dollar index futures rose 0.39% to 100.50.
