Walt Bettinger, CEO of Charles Schwab, to retire By Reuters

(Reuters) – The US brokerage firm Charles Schwab (NYSE: ) said Tuesday CEO Walt Bettinger will retire at the end of the year.

Bettinger will be replaced by Rick Wurster, currently Schwab’s chairman, the company said.

The outgoing CEO will remain executive co-chairman of the board, the brokerage added.
