The digital asset sector continues to do so is outperforming the stock market this year, with bitcoin leading the chargesaid broker Canaccord. The broker noted that the world’s largest cryptocurrency ended the last quarter up about 140 percent year-over-year, outperforming ether, which gained about 60 percent, and the S&P 500, which rose nearly 30 percent, over the same period. If bitcoin follows historical patterns, it tends to rise 6-12 months after a halving and hit new highs 2-6 months later, meaning a potential rally could start between now and April, the broker said.
