Let Liverpool be hotter than Barcelona

Liverpool will be hotter than Barcelona today as the sun shines on Merseyside.

People were seen soaking up the rays on the waterfront on Saturday as the luxury cruise ship visited Liverpool for a day on its way to Amsterdam.




Elsewhere in the city, in Stanley Park to celebrate and honor the lives of the 97 Liverpool FC fans who lost their lives in the 1989 Hillsborough disaster.

It will be another sunny day in Liverpool on Sunday, with temperatures reaching a high of 21 degrees. The latest forecasts from the Met Office show high UV levels between 11am and 2pm, which will be the hottest part of the day.

Today’s sunny weather comes as Liverpool fans prepare to say goodbye to Jurgen Klopp as he takes charge of the club for the last time. The Reds take on Wolves at 4pm at Anfield in what promises to be an exciting afternoon.
