Frankie Bridge ditches her jeans for a ‘cool’ denim skirt that costs under £45 on the high street

Denim maxi skirts skyrocketed in popularity last summer and Frankie Bridge proved they’re still on trend this season with her latest find on the street . A stylish alternative to jeans, these long, breezy numbers are perfect for warm weather – but you don’t have to spend a fortune on one either.

Sharing her access coins as part of her popular Frankie’s Faves Instagram series, the Loose Women panellist styled Mango denim skirt with frayed hem with a plain white t-shirt, for a perfectly casual yet chic ensemble. She elevated her spring look with an expensive-looking bomber jacket, ideal for cooler days.



Denim maxi – or midi – skirts have been hugely popular this spring and will continue to be one of the biggest trending pieces for summer as well. The Mirror reports. And coming in at £45.99, Frankie’s ticks all the boxes.

The skirt boasts a classic light blue denim wash that’s easy to wear with almost anything and a subtle filled hem that keeps it looking effortlessly cool. It has two front pockets, as well as two back pockets and belt loops, proving how easy it is to change up your favorite denim. Plus, the straight cut and mid-rise waist give it that fit that a great pair of jeans has.

For her outfit, Frankie paired the straight denim skirt with a balancing top. Her exact choice was sculpture £34.99 Adanaola Short Sleeve Top which is made of a soft cotton and spandex material, comfortable and breathable, while flattering and stylish.

Speaking about the peak, she said: “The sculpted t-shirt it’s perfect if you want a tighter fit and need it to sit smoothly under your clothes. This is so smooth and has a great amount of stretch. If you tried to get your hands on sell-out version Skims then this is an amazing alternative and a much better price.”
