Upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes in India » MotorOctane

The past few years have been pretty good for Royal Enfield. The brand has always had charm, but has done well in recent years to improve its image. Royal Enfield is now planning to bring even more models to strengthen its position. Royal Enfield plans to launch an onslaught in various segments. In today’s article, let’s talk about all the upcoming Royal Enfield bikes.

Himalayan 450

Royal Enfield is looking to expand the Himalayan nameplate with the new Himalayan 450. The brand will launch the bike on November 7. Last month, the bike was spotted undisguised inside the Royal Enfield factory. The spied bike had a completely new design compared to the Himalayan 411. The LED headlights, new trellis frame, larger fuel tank, revised handlebars and footpegs make this bike feel more useful. Also, as the name suggests, the new Himalayan comes with a new 450cc engine that should produce between 35 and 40 bhp. It will be mated to a six-speed gearbox and we think there could be a slipper and assist clutch. In terms of features, we expect this Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 to come with a new instrument cluster, connected technology and more exciting features than before. Upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes – Shotgun 650

The Shotgun 650 will follow the recently launched Super Meteor 650 in India. The Shotgun 650 is expected to share most of its mechanics with the Super Meteor, but will come with a different steering triangle. From the spy shots, the Shotgun 650 will come with a more standard upright position compared to the Super Meteor’s relaxed seat. Design-wise, the Shotgun will come with blacked-out components, dual exhaust pipes and shorter, cut fenders. It will come with the same 650 cc engine capable of producing 47 PS and 52 Nm of torque. How about the release? The Shotgun 650 is expected to be launched shortly after the Himalayan 450.

Bobber 350

Royal Enfield is also working on the Bobber 350. This does not come with an extended wheelbase like a typical Bobber. Rather, the Bobber is more of a design variation compared to the Classic 350. To differentiate itself, Royal Enfield gives the Bobber a retro look with white wall tires as seen on the test mule. The Bobber 350 has a slightly taller exhaust on the handlebars. Other different things include LED headlights and smaller seats with better cushioning. It will also continue with the 349cc single-cylinder engine capable of producing 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The transmission will be a 5-speed gearbox. Royal Enfield is expected to silently launch the Bobber 350 after the launch of the Himalayan 450. It is expected to become the most expensive 350cc bike in the RE portfolio.

450cc roadster

Upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes

The Roadster 450 will be something similar to what the Scram 411 is to the Himalayan 411. It is expected to come with a lower seat height and smaller alloy wheels. It will also be a more road-friendly version compared to the Himalayan 450. Like the Himalayan 450, it will also come with a new 450cc engine. When he comes? We expect it to be sometime in 2024. Once launched, it will sit below the Himalayan 450 in terms of price.

Upcoming Royal Enfield Bikes – Scrambler 650cc

Another bike that joins the Royal Enfield 650cc lineup is the Scrambler 650. The bike has been spotted a few times during testing. It comes with a two-into-one exhaust with a muffler design not seen on other Royal Enfield bikes. This mule test bike had off-road tires, and these tires appear to be 19 or 18 inches with wire-spoke rims. Other sporting goodies included USD forks and dual hydraulic shocks. When he comes? There is no definitive release time, but we can expect next year.
