Finland stocks rise at close of trade; The OMX Helsinki 25 rose 0.10% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Finland stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the end in Helsinki, it rose by 0.10%.

The best performers of the session were Neste Oyj (HE: ), which rose 2.06% or 0.34 points to trade at 16.81 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank Abp (HE: ) added 0.97% or 0.10 points to end at 10.45 and Konecranes ABP (HE: ) was up 0.82% or 0.55 points to 67.60 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Orion Oyj B (HE: ), which fell 3.18% or 1.56 points to 47.46 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE: ) declined 2.38% or 0.21 points to end at 8.46 and Kojamo (HE:) decreased 2.10% or 0.22 points to 10.26.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 98 to 59, with 31 ending unchanged.

Brent crude for December delivery was up 0.07%, or 0.05, at $73.61 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for November delivery rose 0.09%, or 0.06, to $69.89 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.71% or 19.10, to $2,671.20 per troy ounce.

EUR/USD was unchanged 0.15% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.06% to 0.83.

US dollar index futures rose 0.36% to 101.29.
