Denmark shares fall at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 was down 1.00% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, it fell 1.00% to hit a new 6-month low.

The best performers of the session were DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE: ), which rose 3.24% or 44.50 points to trade at 1,417.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/SB (CSE: ) added 1.97% or 15.60 points to end at 807.80 and Danske Bank A/S (CSE: ) was up 0.97% or 1.90 points to trade at 197.80 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE: ), which declined 3.48% or 15.40 points to trade at 426.90 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE: ) declined 1.75% or 54.00 points to end at 3,032.00 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE: ) declined 1.70% or 13.60 points to 784.60.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange 76 to 55, with 20 ending unchanged.

Shares in DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE: ) rose to 52-week highs; up 3.24% or 44.50 to 1,417.00.

Crude oil for November delivery rose 0.40%, or 0.28, to $70.11 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for December delivery was up 0.35%, or 0.26, at $73.82 a barrel, while December gold futures were down 0.82 % or 21.95 to $2,668.35 per troy ounce.

USD/DKK rose 0.25% to 6.76, while EUR/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.

US dollar index futures rose 0.43% to 101.37.
