Landscaping company recognized for the innovative Bristol scheme

Bathroom-based workplace design and build company Interaction has won a prestigious award for the creation of Osborne Clarke’s state-of-the-art office in Bristol.

The interaction won the Fit Out of the Year Award at the British Council for Offices (BCO) South of England and South Wales Awards Dinner.

The award recognizes Interaction’s high-quality design work, creating Osborne Clarke’s five-storey flexible workplace in the iconic Halo building, one of the UK’s most sustainable office developments. The BCO Awards are seen as the benchmark for excellence in the workplace.

Interaction was commissioned to design and fit out Osborne Clarke’s Bristol workplace with a focus on wellbeing, inclusion and sustainability. Highlights include interior gardens with flexible workspaces, yoga and spin studios and restaurant with a rooftop terrace offering stunning views of Bristol.

In accordance with strict sustainability criteria, the Halo layout was designed with WELL Building and Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology (BREEAM) certifications in mind. Durable materials were used

throughout the workspace, including reclaimed clothing materials and recycled plastics.

Interaction managing director Dieter Wood said: “Osborne Clarke’s Halo office was a major design project for us, which focused heavily on wellbeing and sustainability in the workplace. So we are extremely proud to have been recognized for our work on this iconic building in Bristol.”

Lara Burch, head of Osborne Clarke’s Bristol office, said: “Interaction really understood our brief and delivered an outstanding workspace that has well-being, agile working and sustainability built into every design element. We are delighted that the Interaction team has been recognized by the BCO for our Halo kit.”
