Denmark shares fall at close of trade; The OMX Copenhagen 20 was down 0.45% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, it fell 0.45% to hit a new 6-month low.

The best performers of the session were Oersted AS (CSE: ), which rose 0.49% or 2.10 points to trade at 429.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Carlsberg A/SB (CSE: ) added 0.22% or 1.80 points to end at 809.60 and Demant A/S (CSE: ) was flat 0.00% or 0 .00 points up to 259.00 at the end of transactions.

The worst performers of the session were AP Moeller – Maersk A/SB (CSE: ), which declined 3.61% or 385.00 points to trade at 10,270.00 at the close. Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE: ) declined 3.37% or 27.50 points to 788.00 and AP Moeller – Maersk A/SA (CSE: ) declined 3.20% or 330.00 points, up to 9,970.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 81 to 42, with 26 ending unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery rose 4.11%, or 2.88, to $72.98 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for December delivery rose 3.87%, or 2.86, to $76.76 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 0.07 % or 1.80 to $2,671.50 per troy ounce.

USD/DKK rose 0.31% to 6.77, while EUR/DKK was unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.

US dollar index futures rose 0.38% to 101.81.
