Starwind Specialty welcomes Conrad as Chief Underwriting Officer

Starwind Specialty Insurance Servicesbased in New York City, named Kirk Conrad as underwriting director. Based in Dallas, Conrad has more than two decades of experience across multiple industry sectors, spanning roles in commercial and personal lines, risk management and data analytics.

Most recently, Conrad was Global Head of Analytics at BMS Group. He was also managing director of securities and investment banking with the firm’s broker dealer. Prior to the reinsurance brokerage space, Conrad was a partner at Advocate Reinsurance Partners and vice president, actuarial reserves, at Affirmative Insurance.
