‘Love Is Blind’ Season 7 Star Leo Now: Instagram, Job, Spoilers

  • “Love Is Blind” season seven features a cast of singles from the Washington, DC area.
  • One of those loners is Leo, an art dealer who forms several connections in bridges.
  • Here’s what we know about what happened to Leo after the shoot.

Warning: Spoilers ahead through season seven episode six “Love Is Blind.”

“Love Is Blind” is back — and it’s got its newest polarizing character.

That would be Leo, a 31-year-old art dealer whose main insecurity in dating is that a woman may only be interested in him for his wealth. He handles it in spades, without hiding his lucrative career or considerable personal wealth – and the show’s editing goes at it gratuitously.

Unfortunately, being on “Love Is Blind” means your dating blunders and personal quirks are exposed to a huge audience. Netflix’s flagship dating franchise draws millions of views: According to the platform’s own figures, the sixth season attracted 20.9 million views (watched hours divided by total running time) in the first half of the year.

To be fair to Leo, he takes his less favorable edit of the show in stride, posting jokes about releasing tax returns on social media. Despite not being one of the cast members who made it to the couples’ Mexico vacation (more on that later), he’s still one of the most memorable parts of the season so far.

Here’s what we know about where he is today.

Leo forms two pod connections, but the experience ends badly for him

Going into the part of “Love Is Blind” that hides the look, Leo tells the other male cast members in episode one that he’s not on the show to raise his own profile.

“We’ve grown financially very well,” he said. “Nu încerc să-mi construiesc o carieră de influență. Sunt un nenorocit de negustor de artă bogat. Am crescut, cum ar fi, am fost la un club din țară, am fost la școală privată. Facultatea mea a fost plătită.”

Leo forms strong bonds with beautician Brittany, 33, who wants to be groomed in a relationship, and Hannah, 26, who quit her job to be on the show. In episode two, he tells Brittany that he feels as confident in his relationship with her as he does with Hannah.

Ultimately, this leads to some tension. After Leo asks Brittany about what kind of ring she might like in episode three, she confronts his indecision after he tells her that he was planning on having the same conversation with Hannah.

For a moment, it looks like the issue will resolve itself after Hannah tells Leo in episode three that she and Nick D., another cast member, have confessed their love for each other. Leo does not take well to the attempted breakup, demanding to know if Hannah would agree to marry him if he asked her at that moment, bringing her to tears.

During another date in episode four, Hannah and Leo agree to end their relationship after Hannah tells him that she has stronger feelings for Nick. Leo asks Hannah to tell Brittany that their breakup was mutual so Brittany doesn’t think she’s his second choice. Hannah refuses – but do what tell brittany he asked her to do this.

In episode four, Brittany tells Leo that she’s still “hurt” by the way he handled her and Hannah’s relationships. Leo tries to propose, but Brittany turns him down and tells him to propose again. In episode five, he tries again, and she says yes.

When the two meet at their reveal, however, the tension is palpable. Brittany still can’t tell Leo she loves him, and the pair agree that if they aren’t selected for the couples trip to Mexico, they will travel to Miami together.

Mexico was not meant to be and neither was this couple.

“Brittany & Leo were not one of the six couples chosen by the producers to continue their trip to Mexico,” reads a card screen right after Leo and Brittany’s first face-to-face meeting. “They took their own trip to Miami and broke off their engagement a few weeks later.”

Leo and Brittany’s relationship “didn’t work out” after episode 6

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly published Wednesday, Brittany explained how her relationship with Leo progressed after filming wrapped and how it ultimately ended.

Brittany told EW that she and Leo spent two days in Los Angeles, where the pods are filmed, before heading to Miami. And while they had “fun” on the trip, they realized after a few days that their relationship wasn’t going to work.

“Nothing major happened,” Brittany told EW. “Honestly, sometimes I wish there was, because maybe it would give a better explanation of why things didn’t work out. It’s really just, you know when it’s right and you know when it’s not, and we’re better off as friends.”

She told EW that their split was “super mutual” and “nothing crazy happened” when they decided to split.

Leo made fun of him on the show after the premiere

On Instagram, Leo doesn’t take things too seriously. After Netflix posted a video of him making kissing noises on the show — “mwah mwah mwah mwah mwah” — he posted it to his own Instagram story.

“Listen on repeat if you’re interested in losing your sanity,” he captioned the post.

On Wednesday, Leo posted a screenshot of an exchange he said he had with reality TV blogger Ashley, discussing his net worth.

“Do I release my tax returns?” he asked in a survey.

Leo also posted a video on Instagram reacting to Netflix changing his Instagram bio to “art dealer,” referencing him on the show.

“I was thinking about it, and shows and cinema are art. And Netflix is selling us shows and cinema. So in a way, they’re also art dealers,” he said in the video. “From one rich art dealer to another richer art dealer, you know, respect.”

Leo still works at his family’s company, based in New York City

According to the company’s website, Leo runs his family’s art business, Capital Art Advisory, which he took over in 2015 and moved to New York City, where Brittany told EW he now lives. He serves both domestic and international clients and also advises on NFT collections.

He’s active on Instagram, where other cast members, including Hannah and Brittany, follow him (for what it’s worth, he follows them both, too).

Leo regularly posts videos on Instagram and TikTok about art world topics such as price negotiation and whether the woman in Da Vinci’s famous Mona Lisa is smiling.

He also promoted “Love Is Blind” on Instagram, teasing the seventh season with a portrait of his cast.

“‘Hey Leo, how was your love life?'” he captioned the video.

The next episodes of “Love Is Blind” season seven will air on Wednesday, October 9 Netflix.
