Columbia stocks rise at close of trade; COLCAP rose 0.15% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the end in Colombia, it won 0.15%.

The best performers of the session were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ), which rose 2.15% or 360.00 points to trade at 17,080.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Canacol Energy Ltd (BVC: ) added 0.37% or 40.00 points to end at 10,900.00 and Organization Terpel SA (BVC: ) was up 0.20% or 20.00 points to trade at 10,140.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Banco De Bogota SA (BVC: ), which decreased 1.73% or 480.00 points to trade at 27,220.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC: ) declined 1.72% or 500.00 points to end at 28,500.00 and Grupo Bolivar SA (BVC:) decreased 1.59% or 1,000.00 points to 62,000.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Columbia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US C coffee for December delivery fell 0.86% or 2.20 to $254.30. Elsewhere in commodity trading, US cocoa for December delivery rose 1.56% or 110.00 to hit $7,174.00, while December gold futures rose 0.23% or 6.20 to trade at $2,675.90 a troy ounce.

USD/COP was unchanged 0.00% to 4,188.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.57% to 764.62.

US dollar index futures rose 0.28% to 101.71.
