Taiwan stocks up at close; Taiwan rose 0.75% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Taiwan stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Taiwan, it was up 0.75%.

The best performers of the session were Arima Communications Corp (TW: ), which rose 350.24% or 7.39 points to trade at 9.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Paiho Shih Holdings Corp (TW: ) added 10.00% or 2.30 points to end at 25.30 and Les Enphants Co Ltd (TW: ) was up 9.96% or 0.91 points to trade at 10.05 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Lead data Inc (TW: ), which declined 9.85% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.57 at the close. Sino Horizon Holdings Ltd (TW: ) declined 7.67% or 3.05 points to 36.70 and Creative Sensor Inc (TW: ) declined 7.54% or 4.60 points to 56.40 .

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares of Arima Communications Corp (TW:) rose to 3-year highs; gaining 350.24% or 7.39 to 9.50. Shares in Paiho Shih Holdings Corp (TW:) rose to 52-week highs; up 10.00% or 2.30 to 25.30. Shares in Les Enphants Co Ltd (TW:) rose to 3-year highs; gaining 9.96% or 0.91 to 10.05.

Crude oil for November delivery fell 0.12%, or 0.09, to $73.62 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for December delivery fell 0.15%, or 0.12, to $77.50 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 0.29 % or 7.70 to $2,686.90 per troy ounce.

USD/TWD was flat 0.00% to 32.04, while TWD/CNY was flat 0.09% to 0.22.

US dollar index futures fell 0.12% to 101.63.
