German stocks rise at close of trade; The DAX rose 0.55% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Frankfurt, it added 0.55%, while the index gained 1.05% and the index gained 0.48%.

The best performers of the session on the were Siemens Energy AG (ETR: ), which rose 3.39% or 1.16 points to trade at 35.35 at the close. Meanwhile, Volkswagen AG VZO ON (ETR: ) added 2.85% or 2.60 points to end at 93.98 and Deutsche Bank AG NA ON (ETR: ) was up 2.71% or 0.42 points to trade at 15.78 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were RWE AG ST ON (ETR: ), which declined 1.96% or 0.63 points to trade at 31.46 at the close. Deutsche Boerse AG (ETR: ) declined 1.60% or 3.40 points to 209.10 and Merck KGaA (ETR: ) declined 1.12% or 1.75 points to 154.90 .

The top performers on the MDAX were Kion Group AG (ETR: ) which rose 5.56% to 36.28, Stabilized (ETR:) which rose 4.00% to settle at 37.70 and Nordex SE ON (ETR: ) which gained 3.79% to close at 13.42.

The worst performers were K+S AG (ETR: ), which fell 2.47% to 11.05 in late trade, Tag Immobilien AG (ETR: ), which lost 0.73% to settle at 16.42 and Rational AG (ETR: ) which fell 0.55% to 909.00 at the close.

The best performers on TecDAX were Nagarro SE (ETR: ) which rose 3.84% to 92.05, Nordex SE ON (ETR: ) which rose 3.79% to settle at 13.42 and Carl Zeiss Meditec AG (ETR: ) which gained 3.14% to close at 69.05.

The worst performers were PNE Wind AG (ETR: ) which fell 1.45% to 12.20 in late trade, Siemens Healthineers AG (ETR: ) which lost 0.96% to settle at 51.82 and Sartorius AG VZO ON (ETR: ) which was down 0.71% to 236.90 at the close.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 411 to 194, with 28 ending unchanged.

Gold futures for December delivery fell 0.25%, or 6.80, to $2,672.40 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for November delivery rose 1.63%, or 1.20, to $74.91 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract rose 1.43% or 1.11, to 78.73 dollars per barrel.

EUR/USD fell 0.66% to 1.10, while EUR/GBP was unchanged 0.52% to 0.84.

US dollar index futures rose 0.61% to 102.37.
