Shares in Brazil are up at the close; Bovespa rose 0.19% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Brazil equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Sao Paulo, it was up 0.19%.

The best performers of the session were YDUQS Participacoes SA (BVMF: ), which rose 8.54% or 0.80 points to trade at 10.17 at the close. Meanwhile Localiza Rent a Car SA (BVMF: ) added 3.46% or 1.40 points to end at 41.90 and Sendas Distribuidora SA (BVMF: ) was up 3.41% or 0.23 points to trade at 6.97 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were CSN Mineracao SA (BVMF: ), which declined 4.82% or 0.32 points to trade at 6.34 at the close. Atacadao SA (BVMF:) declined 3.36% or 0.29 points to end at 8.35 and Grupo Vamos SA (BVMF: ) declined 2.25% or 0.13 points to 5.64.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the B3 Stock Exchange by 525 to 390, while 80 ended unchanged.

Shares in Atacadao SA (BVMF:) fell to a minimum; down 3.36% or 0.29 to 8.35. Shares of Grupo Vamos SA (BVMF:) fell to a low; losing 2.25% or 0.13 to 5.64.

Gold futures for December delivery fell 0.30%, or 8.10, to $2,671.10 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for November delivery rose 1.28%, or 0.94, to $74.65 a barrel, while the December C coffee contract rose 1.15% or 2.90, up to $254.95.

USD/BRL fell 0.31% to 5.46, while EUR/BRL fell 0.82% to 5.99.

US dollar index futures rose 0.47% to 102.23.
