Rund reports growth at his Birmingham office

The Birmingham office of surveying and construction consultancy Rund has continued to grow this year, marking its most successful period since opening its doors in 2019 at 55 Colmore Row in the city centre. This year the team has grown to its largest yet and includes six new team members who have joined since January – the most recent being a Senior Surveyor who joined in April.

Three internal promotions were also made, with Tom French promoted from Managing Surveyor to Associate Director, Phil Owens from Surveyor to Senior Surveyor and Milind Page from Assistant Surveyor to Surveyor.

Rund’s growth and investment reflects the company’s growing presence in the Midlands. Its Birmingham office is currently working on projects across the Midlands and beyond.

Projects include the 30-storey New Makers Yard Build to Rent development on Sherlock Street in Birmingham. Funded by Get Living, Rund was appointed as an independent project monitor.

Closing in September 2023 and expected to be completed in 2025, New Makers Yard will deliver 551 new homes in a mix of one, two and three bedroom apartments, of which 47 will be affordable.
