Introducing Robotaxi: A Launch to Spark the Trillion Dollar AV Revolution

Lately, we’ve been all-in on autonomous vehicles (AVs). And while this enthusiasm is not new, it has certainly been reinforced by the spate of developments that have unfolded recently. In fact, we see so much promise in this industry that we’ve been pounding it for days, sharing all about the dawn”The age of AVs.” And we covered a lot of ground.

We talked about how self-driving cars are expanding onto roads across America…

Delve into the technology behind these impressive machines…

We even postulated how autonomous vehicles could create a multi-trillion dollar economic opportunity.

But we have more to discuss the particular catalyst that could push this revolution into the next gear.

In fact, believe it or not, that stimulus could arrive in just a few days — Thursday, October 10, when the world’s richest man will spotlight the AV Revolution.

that afternoon adze CEO Elon Musk will likely unveil his biggest project ever: the Robot taxis, a fully autonomous Tesla vehicle.

Of course, many of the company’s current cars have some self-driving features. But neither is a fully autonomous vehicle.

Robotaxi aims to be just that.

And we suspect its debut could put AVs on the fast track to ubiquity.

What is so special about Robotaxi?

Tesla’s Robotaxi aims to be a fully autonomous vehicle that can rely entirely on advanced software and hardware to operate without human intervention.

Sure, Waymo already has cars like these; so does China Apollo Go.

But Tesla is trying to do it better than the rest – and we think it could very well succeed.

Additionally, AV firms like Waymo don’t sell their cars to the public. These are only accessible through local transport transport services.

But Tesla is first and foremost an automaker, which means Robotaxi might just be the first AV available for purchase.

That’s why we think this debut is such a big deal. It will likely mark the first time consumers see a fully autonomous vehicle that they can park right in their own driveways.

Not only could that AV turn time spent driving into time spent working or relaxing, but in theory it could also transport other people on its own… and earn its owner additional income.

That, at least, is Musk’s vision. He wants to create an autonomous transportation network that Robotaxi owners can use. Their cars transported others and earned money from those races.

Pretty cool idea, right? We think so.

All this and more will likely be on display on October 10 when Musk takes the stage at his highly anticipated Robotaxi event.

So yeah, it’s a big deal.

But it’s also a big deal for a much simpler reason – advertisement.
