Live fire updates from Sheffield with residents warned to keep windows and doors closed

A huge fire broke out in Sheffield with smoke billowing through the city.

Footage shows a large cloud of black smoke with residents living close to Clement Street warned to keep their windows and doors closed. South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said they had five fire engines at the scene.




They also have a fire escalator.

In a statement on social media, South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We currently have five fire engines and an aerial ladder attending a fire in Clement Street, Sheffield. Nearby residents are advised to keep their windows and doors closed until smoke from the incident clears. cleanse.”
