Las Vegas Strip casino signs legendary rock band for residency

Las Vegas has provided a wide variety of music for visitors and locals with the biggest names in entertainment for decades.

For classic Vegas fans, Wayne Newton continues his residency at Bugsy’s Cabaret at Flamingo on the Strip through December 30, Donny Osmond has his residency at Harrah’s Showroom at Caesar Entertainment through June 7, 2025, and Barry Manilow performs his residency outside The Strip at the International Theater at Westgate Las Vegas through December 13, 2025.

Guests looking to enjoy the hottest country stars are spoiled for choice, with residencies from Garth Brooks, Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Shania Twain, Keith Urban and Brad Paisley.

Las Vegas began to provide entertainment for hip-hop and rapper fans as hotel-casinos began to feature residencies. Wu-Tang Clan held what is billed as Sin City’s first hip-hop residency at the Theater at Virgin Hotels for four shows in February and March 2024.

The Strip’s first major hip-hop residency featured New York hip-hop stars Ja Rule, Fat Joe, Slick Rick, Doug E. Fresh and DJ Cassidy for the July 2024 “Pass the Mic Live” residency at Planet Hollywood.

Legendary hip-hop artist Nas brings his residency back to the Encore Theater at the Wynn Resort, accompanied by the Las Vegas Philharmonic, for three shows on February 5, 7 and 8, 2025, and superstar rappers the Black Eyed Peas have scheduled 15 shows. at their 2025 residency in February, March and May 2025.

Hard rock acts are heading to the Strip, with “Living After Midnight” singers Judas Priest playing PH Live at Planet Hollywood for an Oct. 16 show, and the Scorpions returning to the Las Vegas Strip in 2025 for “Coming.” Home of Las Vegas 60th Anniversary” residency at Caesars Entertainment’s PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino beginning February 27th and continuing March 1st, 6th, 8th and 11th.

Mötley Crüe returns to Las Vegas Strip residency

Finally, legendary hard rock band Mötley Crüe returns to the Las Vegas Strip for its first residency in 12 years as it has scheduled 11 shows at MGM Resorts International. (MGM) Dolby Live at the Park MGM in March and April 2025.

The Los Angeles band have signed on for shows on March 28-29, April 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 12, 16, 18 and 19, 2025. Fan Club, Official Platinum, Citi Card Member and VIP Package Presales are running through October 10th at 10:00 PM PT on Ticketmaster.com.

Live Nation, Ticketmaster, Media, SiriusXM presales begin October 7th at 10am Pacific. Tickets go on sale to the general public on October 11 at 10am Pacific.

A portion of ticket proceeds will be donated to the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth through Mötley Crüe’s Giveback Initiative and Live Nation.

The band’s residency will follow the Hollywood Takeover shows at the Troubadour on October 7; Roxy on October 9 and Whiskey a Go Go on October 11 on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California. He will also appear on October 13 at Aftershock 2024 in Sacramento.

In November 2022, Mötley Crüe said they were planning their third Las Vegas residency for 2024, but the band never finalized plans for shows that year. The band previously held residencies at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in 2012 and 2013.
