Princess Cruises is making another key adult beverage change

One of the joys of getting an adult beverage package on a cruise is that you can try new drinks and spirits that you might not see in bars or stores back home. That might mean trying a trendy cocktail like a lavender martini, or a silly frozen concoction you might never imagine.

Cruise lines also include a number of mid-level bourbon, whiskey and tequila options that might be out of their price range on land. And if you really want to splurge, the top stuff can usually be had for just paying the difference between the drinks package’s upper per-drink limit and the list price.

Princess Cruises has sought to offer passengers even more special options with its “Love Line Premium Liquors” collection, an exclusive line of wines and spirits created and curated by Princess’ celebrated creative partners to bring unique and indulgent experiences to the most iconic brand in cruise. .

Now, the cruise line has expanded that offering to include Pantalones Organic Tequila — “really good, really clean, award-winning, unpretentious tequila created by Camila and Matthew McConaughey,” it said on its website.

Princess Cruises says “good, good, good”

Pantalones Organic Tequila is 100% premium organic tequila and 0% pretense, smooth, flavorful and great for sipping, shooting or mixing into your favorite. Luxury pants cocktail,” the cruise line said.

Three expressions of Pantalones Organic Tequila are now available at bars on ships across the fleet, including Blanco, Reposado and Añejo, and included in the beverage options available in the Princess Plus and Princess Premier packages.

The cruise line will also offer a mobile Pantalones Organic Margarita cart that will appear on various decks offering unique deals and cocktails with kitsch names. Guests can even use Princess’ exclusive OceanNow delivery service to call the Pantalones Organic Margarita Cart to their location for a fully customized blending experience anywhere on the ship.

Cocktails created in partnership with the Pantalones team and princess mixologist Rob Floyd include:

• Pants on fire – Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila, fresh lime juice, Campari, Agave with smoked paprika, garnished with a rim of salt and Tabasco green
• Sea legs – Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila, Luxardo, fresh lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice, agave, topped with soda water
• Hot Pants – Pantalones Organic Blanco Tequila, lime juice, pineapple juice, jalapeño slices, agave nectar
• Fancy Paloma pants – Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila, Betty Buzz Grapefruit, Line Juice
• 24K gold margarita – A princess favorite, now made with Pantalones Organic Reposado Tequila, Cointreau, Grand Marnier, Margarita Mix, garnished with a salty rim
