BOJ says price hikes, wage gains widen By Reuters

TOKYO (Reuters) – The Bank of Japan said on Monday that price increases were widening as many companies saw the need to continue raising wages due to structural labor shortages.

In a quarterly report, the BOJ revised its rating for two of Japan’s nine regional areas. It left the rating unchanged for the remaining regions.
