Meanwhile, Biostar Microtech International Corp (TW: ) rose 10.00% or 3.20 points to end at 35.20 and Loop Telecommunication International Inc (TW: ) was up 9.99% or 7.10 points to end at 35.20 to 78.20 at the close of trading.

The worst performers of the session were China Container Terminal Corp (TW:), which declined 9.99% or 3.85 points to trade at 34.70 at the close. Wan Hai Lines Ltd (TW: ) declined 9.98% or 9.90 points to end at 89.30 and Creative Sensor Inc (TW: ) declined 9.93% or 5.60 points to end at 50. 80.
