Carnival Cruise Line passengers were banned after a really bad move

In the old “Batman” TV series, the villain — perhaps the Joker, the Riddler, the Penguin or even Egghead — would have Batman and Robin captured and in a seemingly certain death position. Since the heroes weren’t going to escape, despite their long history of escaping similar situations, the bad guy laid out his whole nefarious plan.

Of course, Batman would escape and then use the information the villains willingly shared to thwart their plans.

Similar things happened in the James Bond movies, and it’s kind of a trope in the wider world of superheroes.

You would think people who break the rules would understand how social media works. If you successfully commit the crime, don’t brag about it on Facebook, Instagram or X, formerly Twitter.

That’s not a lesson two Carnival Cruise Line passengers learned, according to Tony of the popular YouTube channel La Lido Loca,

The Pickle People pushed it too far

People try to bring things on cruises that aren’t allowed quite often. However, on a recent Carnival cruise, two passengers mixed up some items they didn’t know were not allowed with one they should know was prohibited

“I’m going to describe this one without using pictures because pictures are disturbing. In April, there were a pair of cruisers on a Carnival cruise ship trying to take some items on board, some items that were confiscated and then one item that was not confiscated,” he shared.

It’s not uncommon to see prohibited items on the ship, and if you just keep it in your luggage (or hand it in at ship security) you probably won’t have any problems. These passengers did none of these sensible things.

“And wildly, we probably wouldn’t know anything about it unless the pickle cruisers made a video about it. They posted a video on social media. And in the video, you could hear one of the people, they’re on a cruise. cabin in front of the safe in the cruise cabin They took my pickles, hot dogs and even the opened bag of popcorn but they didn’t find that,” said Tony.

If “this” had been a worse dish, it wouldn’t have been a big deal.

And then after she said they didn’t find it, let’s reveal it. Pickles, hot dogs and pop. It actually looks like a pretty good night. Anyway, they took all that stuff. They were able to find those things, but they didn’t find the firearm, strange,” he said.

Tony, to be clear, wasn’t sure if the gun was real or just a replica/toy.

“I don’t know if that was a real pew or not a real pew, but man, they showed it right there in the video. And that video resurfaced months ago. And now Carnival said, hey, we know who these people are. They are banned, they are no longer welcome to sell on Carnival Cruise Line,” he added.

All cruise lines, for the record, have a no-weapons policy, but they don’t specifically ban the crap.
