Gold down Rs 10 at Rs 77,440; silver down Rs 100 to trade at 95,900/kg | commodities

In Delhi, Bengaluru and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 24 carat gold was Rs 77,590 and Rs 77,440 respectively.

In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold is at par with Kolkata and Hyderabad at Rs 70,990.

In Delhi, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold was Rs 71,140 and in Bengaluru and Chennai, ten grams of 22 carat gold was trading at Rs 70,990.

The price of one kilogram of silver in Delhi is in line with the prices in Kolkata and Mumbai at Rs 95,900.

The price of one kilogram of silver in Chennai was Rs 101,900.

US Gold Prices held steady on Wednesday as traders awaited clues on US interest rate policy from the minutes of the Federal Reserve’s latest meeting.

Spot gold held steady at $2,622.24 an ounce by 0020 GMT after falling more than 1 percent in the previous session.

Spot silver lost 0.2% to $30.63 an ounce. Platinum was up 0.6% at $955.90 and palladium was down 0.3% at $1,018.78.
