Turkey stocks up at close of trade; BIST 100 rose 0.97% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Turkey stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Istanbul, it added 0.97%.

The best performers of the session on the were Oba Makarnacilik Sanayi and Ticaret AS (IS: ), which rose 7.67% or 2.80 points to trade at 39.30 at the close. Meanwhile, Karsan Automotive Sanayi ve Ticaret AS (IS: ) added 6.17% or 0.87 points to end at 14.97 and Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS ORD (IS: ) was up 5.71% or 4.70 points to 87.05.

The worst performers of the session were MLP Saglik Hizmetleri AS (IS: ), which declined 9.95% or 35.50 points to trade at 321.25 at the close. Baticim Bati Anadolu Cimento Sanayi AS (IS: ) declined 5.68% or 9.60 points to end at 159.40 and 1000 Yatirimlar Holding AS (IS: ) declined 3.96% or 13.00 points to end at 315.00.

Advancers outnumbered decliners on the Istanbul Stock Exchange by 281 to 271, with 26 ending unchanged.

Gold futures for December delivery were down 0.16%, or 4.20, at $2,631.20 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodity trading, crude for November delivery fell 0.56%, or 0.41, to $73.16 a barrel, while the December Brent oil contract fell 0.78 % or 0.60, up to 76.58 dollars per barrel.

USD/TRY fell 0.06% to 34.22, while EUR/TRY fell 0.48% to 37.48.

US dollar index futures rose 0.23% to 102.54.
