Swedish stocks rise at close of trade; The OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.27% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Sweden stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Stockholm, it gained 0.27%.

The best performers of the session were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST: ), which rose 1.45% or 1.20 points to trade at 80.50 at the close. Meanwhile, Hexagon AB ser. B (ST: ) added 1.29% or 1.40 points to end at 106.40 and Sinch AB (ST: ) was up 1.22% or 0.34 points to 28.15 at end of transaction.

The worst performers of the session were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST: ), which declined 2.29% or 0.17 points to trade at 7.33 at the close. Evolution AB (ST: ) declined 1.75% or 17.20 points to end at 963.40 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST: ) declined 1.03% or 2.20 points to end at 211.10.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 371 to 364, with 92 ending unchanged.

Shares in Evolution AB (ST:) fell to 52-week lows; down 1.75% or 17.20 to 963.40.

Crude oil for November delivery fell 0.33%, or 0.24, to $73.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for December delivery was down 0.58%, or 0.45, at $76.73 a barrel, while December gold futures were down 0.09 % or 2.25, to $2,633.15 a troy ounce.

EUR/SEK rose 0.34% to 11.38, while USD/SEK rose 0.65% to 10.39.

US dollar index futures rose 0.29% to 102.60.
