Meanwhile, Bancolombia Pf (BVC: ) added 1.29% or 420.00 points to end at 33,100.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC: ) was up 1.21% or 90.00 points, up to 7,540.00 at the end of transactions.

The worst performers of the session were Ecopetrol SA (BVC: ), which declined 4.45% or 85.00 points to trade at 1,825.00 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (BVC: ) declined 3.48% or 270.00 points to end at 7,480.00 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC: ) declined 2.82% or 500.00 points, up to 17,200.00.

USD/COP was down 0.01% at 4,234.49, while BRL/COP was down 1.03% at 756.56.

US dollar index futures rose 0.36% to 102.68.
