Harry Styles is ‘breaking up with actress girlfriend Taylor Russell’ after 14 months

Former One Direction singer Harry Styles has split from his girlfriend, Bones And All actress Taylor Russell. The pair, who had been together for 14 months, said goodbye to their intense love story last month, according to reports.

Just last month, the couple embarked on what was described as a ‘fake or break’ holiday in Japan to try and work out their relationship difficulties, with the couple last seen together in public on a Tokyo subway , in April. Interestingly, Taylor later made a solo appearance at this month’s Met Gala in New York without Harry by her side.

An insider shared with The Sun: “Harry and Taylor have ended their relationship. They went through a rough time after their trip to Japan and are taking some time apart. He was in America and she was in London. They made a great couple and it was obvious that Taylor made Harry happy, however, things had been strained recently and took some time.

Harry, who is originally from Redditch, first sparked rumors of a split earlier this month when he was conspicuously absent from the Met Gala. A proud fashionista, in previous years Harry has enthusiastically attended the exclusive event, but this year he opted to skip the party and let his girlfriend Taylor attend on her own.

Despite missing her beau, Taylor still turned heads at the event, stunning in a beautiful custom-fitted dress with a wooden bodice, the Mirror reports. A red leaf pattern adorns the high neck top and an elegant white skirt draped from the hips.

She continued to complete the look with slicked back hair and natural makeup, allowing her natural beauty to shine through.

The pop star’s solo appearance on the red carpet raised eyebrows among fans, considering her boyfriend Harry is no stranger to such events, even hosting the 2019 Met Gala on his debut. Known for his modern style, Harry’s absence from the carpet caused concern among fans who were eager to see him.

“Why isn’t Harry Styles at the Met Gala tonight? WHY,” asked a fan on X, formerly known as Twitter. The musician’s fans have been dying to see him since he finished his Love on Tour shows last year.

Fans hoped this high-profile event would end their Harry drought. Another lamented: “Why am I always hoping to see Harry Styles at the MetGala? Every year it’s the same.”

Despite having only attended once before, fans are convinced Harry would have nailed this year’s Garden of Time dress code. One admirer commented: “Gala wouldn’t have been a challenge for Harry Styles. He looks like a prince every time he dons a suit. All he needed was a tuxedo with a flower and BOOM he would slay.”

Harry and Taylor’s relationship first came to light in March last year when they were spotted together on what appeared to be a romantic stroll. They were spotted together again in July when Taylor attended Harry’s Love On Tour concerts in Vienna in the VIP area.

Harry publicly supported his girlfriend Taylor when she starred in The Effect at London’s National Theatre. He was spotted at the after party where he and Taylor were seen getting cozy.

The two have been spotted together frequently around London, even taking a Boxing Day swim at the Hampstead Heath ponds. Birmingham Live has contacted Harry’s representatives for comment on the matter.
