Uniswap developer unveils its own Layer-2 network, Unichain, built on Optimism Tech

Over the past year, Layer 2 has been popping up everywhere, and some in the industry have argued that there is growing fatigue, as well as fragmentation, from these networks. Some experts have claimed that there could be thousands of Layer 2 networks in a few years, and teams are already building Layer 3 to run on top of Layer 2.
