Morocco shares fall at close of trade; All Moroccan stocks were down 0.33% by Investing.com

Investing.com – Morocco stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Casablanca, it was down 0.33%.

The best performers of the session were CTM (CSE: ), which rose 6.39% or 39.60 points to trade at 659.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Realis. Mecaniques (CSE: ) rose 5.81% or 26.15 points to end at 476.00 and Delta Holding SA (CSE: ) was up 3.67% or 1.98 points to 55 .99 at the end of transactions.

The worst performers of the session were Lesieur Cristal (CSE: ), which declined 3.47% or 9.90 points to trade at 275.05 at the close. Med Paper ( CSE: ) declined 3.15% or 0.67 points to end at 20.60 and Fenie Brossette ( CSE: ) declined 2.87% or 3.10 points to 104. 80.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Casablanca Stock Exchange by 33 to 14 and 4 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for November delivery rose 2.32%, or 1.70, to $74.94 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodity trading, Brent crude for December delivery rose 2.35%, or 1.80, to $78.38 a barrel, while December gold futures rose 0.53 % or 13.95 to $2,639.95 per troy ounce.

EUR/MAD fell 0.18% to 10.74, while USD/MAD fell 0.15% to 9.82.

US dollar index futures rose 0.10% to 102.79.
