Columbia stocks rise at close of trade; COLCAP rose 0.67% Via Investing.com

Investing.com – Colombia stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors propelled shares higher.

The best performers of the session were Grupo Nourished SA (BVC: ), which rose 3.33% or 2,320.00 points to trade at 72,000.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Mineros SA (BVC:) added 2.78% or 100.00 points to end at 3,700.00 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:) was up 1.76% or 220.00 points to 12,700. 00 in late transactions.

The worst performers of the session were Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC: ), which fell 2.27% or 420.00 points to trade at 18,100.00 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA Preferred (BVC: ) declined 2.13% or 440.00 points to end at 20,200.00 and Cementos Argos SA (BVC: ) declined 1.86% or 140.00 points to at 7,400.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Columbia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Shares of Grupo Nutresa SA (BVC:) rose to all-time highs; up 3.33% or 2,320.00 to 72,000.00. Shares in Mineros SA (BVC:) rose to a 52-week high; up 2.78% or 100.00 to 3,700.00.

US C coffee for December delivery rose 1.95% or 4.87 to $254.92. Elsewhere in commodity trading, US cocoa for December delivery rose 2.18% or 160.00 to hit $7,511.00, while December gold futures rose 0.81% or 21.20 to trade at $2,647.20 a troy ounce.

USD/COP fell 0.51% to 4,213.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.33% to 754.68.

US dollar index futures were down 0.05% at 102.64.
