Zurich NA hires Hattauer from AIG to lead financial lines

Zurich North America employee Nora Hattauer as head of financial lines for Zürich’s US national accounts and mid-market businesses. Hattauer officially begins his role in Zurich on October 21.

Based in Atlanta, Hattauer will be responsible for the direction, management and performance of the Financial Lines strategic business unit in Zurich.

Hattauer most recently served as Chief Accountability Officer for National Accounts at AIG, where he served for nearly 19 years in various management roles within its financial lines unit. She also served as Public Company Segment Underwriting Director and Regional Underwriting Manager. Prior to AIG, she held underwriting roles at Chubb and the St. Paul Companies.

Aon is promoting leaders across its US financial services group

Aon promoted Anna Digel to Aon’s US Financial Services Group (FSG) broking director. Collin Breeney and Joe Reynolds have been promoted to co-leaders for the New York region, also for Aon’s US FSG.

Kary Trocchia he was promoted to the management of the eastern region and Jay Sherwin to drive to the West of the Mountain.

Digel leads brokerage operations, which include strategic collaboration with Aon Inpoint and Aon’s brokerage centers in Bermuda and London.

Breeney oversees the public company’s trading team in New York. He joined Aon as a trainee in 2013 before joining the FSG firm and remained there throughout his tenure at the firm.

Reynolds leads the public company’s financial institutions operations in New York. He joined Aon in 2007 and previously led the team in New York, building Aon’s portfolio of financial institutions clients.

Sherwin, US FSG leader of the firm’s Mountain/West region, is responsible for Aon’s teams in Denver and Dallas, overseeing insurance companies and agencies and broker-dealer errors and omissions operations.
