Leeds Rhinos parent company surpasses £500m turnover – Total Rugby League

Leeds Rhinos’ parent company has revealed significant growth in the year ending 31 August 2023 following the release of its latest financial results.

Yorkshire-headquartered Caddick Group, which is a conglomerate of 96 companies in total, significantly increased its annual turnover to £575m for the financial year.

The group’s businesses include Caddick Developments, Caddick Construction and Moda Living (the group’s joint venture with Generate Land), as well as Leeds Cricket Football and Athletic Company, which runs the Rhinos operation.

Chaired by founder Paul Caddick, from September 2022 to August 2023, Group turnover grew by 17% despite a challenging economic market, with pre-tax profits of £35.456m achieved, although this was down from £57,995 million. the previous year.

The group’s tangible fixed assets are valued at £88,655,000, of which £16,308,259 is shown on Leeds CF&AC’s balance sheet.

The company’s financial year-end is October 31, meaning its 2023 results have yet to be published, although the Rugby League club posted a post-tax loss of £1,282,150 in 2022 on turnover of 11,537 .890 pounds.

A new director, Neil McGawley, Managing Director of AMT Vehicle Group, which is a major vehicle hire and leasing operator, has joined the Leeds CF&AC board from 1 May.
