A new B Corp!

Fresh Communication has been certified as a B Corporation, recognizing the positive social impact of its work with national charities as well as Cornish businesses.

Established in 2005, Fresh has its roots in Cornwall, but its team and customers are spread across the UK, from Truro to London.

The B Corp verification process measures a company’s social and environmental performance, and to qualify a company must achieve a score of at least 80 points (the average score for a typical business is 50.9), Fresh scored B Impact of 92.7 points.

Founder and director Lisa Sutherland said: “Being certified as a B Corporation is a huge achievement for us and we are delighted to be joining the growing group of B Corp businesses in Cornwall.

“It was a rigorous journey that took just over a year and involved a lot of examination and questioning of our business and the way we work. I’ve met fantastic people and inspiring organizations along the way, but this is just the beginning. We are now on a journey of continuous improvement, with recertification taking place every three years.”
