Isabella Kidman Cruise could be living in Hollywood with other top offspring thanks to her mega connections to the entertainment industry. With not one but two very famous multi-millionaire parents, she is of course the eldest child of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman.

But instead of choosing a lavish lifestyle across the pond, Isabella has opted for a quiet life in Croydon, where she prefers to enjoy the art galleries and London life rather than the bright lights of Los Angeles.

The 31-year-old lives in Croydon with her British husband Max Parker and their pet reptiles as she prefers to keep a low profile and away from the limelight, as we previously reported.

The actress reportedly even turned down her father’s offer to live in his £342,000-a-month penthouse in London when she first moved to the UK in October 2017 to be closer to Max’s parents.

Top Gun star Tom owns a property near 10 Downing Street, which has an indoor swimming pool and stunning views, among other luxury features, writes the Mirror.

Isabella – who is also known as Bella – prefers to keep a low profile in a three-bedroom house in Croydon, according to her neighbours.

“I wouldn’t have known her if she had come and slapped me in the face. I don’t keep up with celebrity culture,” a neighbor named Emma told The Sun in 2017.

“They have some kind of reptile – we can see the red light of the tank. That’s all anyone seems to know. She is very mysterious. I guess he decided to live in the limelight. I don’t know why he chose Croydon. , poor child!”

Isabella has apparently embraced English culture since moving to the UK – even lining up behind the national team in the Euro 2020 semi-finals.

The artist made a rare appearance on social media in July 2021, sharing a selfie of herself supporting Gareth Southgate’s players in their bid to reach the final of the football tournament.

“My face during extra time…fingers crossed,” Bella captioned the post shared to her Instagram followers, adding an England flag emoji.

Isabella and Max tied the knot in 2015, just a year after they were set up by mutual friends, and even their wedding day was low-key – with the bride’s famous parents conspicuously absent from the guest list.

The couple’s Scientology wedding at London’s luxury Dorchester Hotel was limited to close friends and family, but both mum Nicole and dad Tom were unable to attend due to work commitments.

The Eyes Wide Shut co-stars – who were married from 1990 to 2001 – adopted Isabella in 1992 and then her younger brother Connor Cruise in 1995.

Despite her parents having a combined fortune of over £600m, Isabella has always been keen to earn her keep.

The celebrity offspring often uses her verified Instagram account to promote various artistic designs — her site offering limited-edition prints from $30 and trendy totes for $19.

“Bella has been drawing since her little hands could pick up a pen. Since then she has evolved in her art,” reads the star’s bio on her website.

“Her medium has been pencil and paper for most of her life. However, she is now venturing into other formats and mediums. Including digital. Which is a bit of a game changer in her opinion.”
