‘Hard to put into words’ – Liverpool players and legends all agree on Jurgen Klopp farewell

Liverpool players sent their own personal messages to Jurgen Klopp on social media after the German said his final goodbyes to the club at the weekend.

Klopp took charge of the Reds for the last time on Sunday as Liverpool beat Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at Anfield. First-half goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Jarell Quansah meant Klopp’s final season ended with 82 points in a third-place finish.

A guard of honor from his players and staff was followed by a specially commissioned plaque which was presented to the German by the club’s owners, Fenway Sports Group. After giving a final speech to the Anfield faithful, Klopp celebrated with the club late into the night.
