Man punched to floor in Holmfirth pub left with serious facial injuries

A man has been left with serious facial injuries after being attacked in Holmfirth.

West Yorkshire Police officers are appealing for witnesses to come forward following the attack which started inside the Elephant and Castle pub and continued outside. A police spokesman said the man suffered facial injuries.




A suspect ran after striking the victim, knocking him to the floor. A spokesman for the Force said: “The Kirklees Rural Policing Team would like to speak to anyone who witnessed or has information or footage of the crime at the Elephant and Castle Inn on Hollowgate.

“The offense took place on Saturday May 11 at around 11.15pm, it started inside and then continued just outside the pub. The suspect left on foot after hitting the male victim, who fell and was left with serious facial injuries.”
