Teenager taken to hospital after stabbing at popular park in Streatham

A teenager has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in a park in Streatham.

The incident happened at Streatham Common Park just after 8pm on May 18.

An ambulance crew, paramedics in response vehicles, an incident response officer and the London Air Ambulance attended.

The young man was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital, where his condition is unknown.

We have contacted the Metropolitan Police for more information.

A spokesman for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.06pm on Saturday 18 May to reports of a stabbing incident on Streatham Common, SE16.

“We sent resources to the scene including an ambulance crew, paramedics in response vehicles, an incident response officer and the London Air Ambulance.

“We treated a teenager at the scene before taking him to a major trauma center in London.”
