“They’re back together?!” Oasis fans are going crazy after the band posted a cryptic video on Instagram

Oasis fans were sent into a frenzy after the band’s official Instagram page posted a cryptic video on Monday night (May 20).

The Manchester band, made up of brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, ended for good in 2009 following a tumultuous relationship between the pair.

The official Oasis Instagram page, which has 1.8 million followers and regularly posts memories of the band’s past concerts and to celebrate anniversaries of song and album releases, shared a new video on Monday.

The short portrait clip, which was posted without captions, featured an aerial shot of a large property on the banks of a river with muted music playing in the background.

Fans immediately flooded the comments with a number of theories as to the reason behind the video being shared, with some questioning whether the group would reform.

Others suggested it could be something in the works to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the group’s debut album Definitely Maybe, which was released in 1994. Many speculated that the building in the video matched that of the studio of records.

Under the post, which has more than 40,000 likes, one fan commented: “Are they back together?!” as another posted: “Come on don’t play with my feelings.”
