Salah’s contract at Liverpool expires in June 2025 and there has been mega-money interest from Saudi Arabia.

He was the subject of a huge £170m bid from Al-Ittihad last year.

And Middle Eastern clubs will be back in for him this summer, with speculation suggesting they are open to paying a world record £200million for the star.

After the season ended on Sunday, Salah posted a picture on social media of him on the Anfield pitch with his two daughters Makka, 10, and Kayan, 4.

He then tweeted his farewell to Klopp, despite the touchline between the two at West Ham on April 27, writing: “It’s been great sharing all those trophies and experiences with you over the last seven years .

“I wish you the best of luck for the future and hope to see you again.”

Salah then followed up with another post which seemed to suggest he will be staying at Liverpool for next season.

He wrote: “We know that trophies matter and we will do everything we can to make that happen next season. Our fans deserve it and we’re going to fight like hell.”
