The Coventry company is donating thousands to charity through a new partnership

A COVENTRY accountancy firm has pledged thousands to a Midlands charity to feed homeless children.

Advancetrack has launched a charity partnership with the Midland Langar Seva Society and provided an initial £5,000.

GI Outsourcing had to pay Advancetrack £50,000, all of which was donated to charity.

MD Vipul Sheth said: “It’s been great to see the positive impact the team at Midland Langar have had on the community since our inception in 2013 and we look forward to helping them in their vital work by providing essential things that no one else should ever have them. to live without.

“As a company we are dedicated to making a positive impact on our local area and linking up with the brilliant MLSS is another step in that journey.

“We have always argued that winning our high court battle was never about money – it was about holding our industry to higher standards and fighting for accountability, transparency and honesty in the accountancy sector.

“That’s why we’ve decided it’s vital that all damages go entirely to worthy organizations like MLSS to support the vital work they do.”

MLSS is built on the foundation of ‘Langar’ – a hallmark of the Sikh faith, meaning ‘free community kitchen’.

Bhupinder ‘Pops’ Heer, community hub manager at MLSS, said: “Our aim is to change people’s lives for the better and show our users that they are not alone and they are cared for, giving them hope and tackling poverty head on.

“With issues like the rising cost of living, our services are in greater demand than ever before, so literally every penny counts.”
