Fire crews in Birmingham tackled the blaze this morning. The fire was still being dealt with hours later after it broke out in a commercial property in the early hours of today, Tuesday 21 May. Several fire crews responded to the blaze at a business in Limekiln Lane, Highers Heath, Birmingham.

Firefighters urged people to avoid the area until the site is made safe. It was not immediately clear when the fire started.

Fire control told BirminghamLive at 7am: “The incident is ongoing and we have one more appliance in attendance. The fire took place in a commercial place. We are not aware of any injuries.”
