New weather map confirms when a French heatwave will hit Britain

New weather maps show a French heatwave will hit Britain with scorching weather. As a result, temperatures are set to rise on Friday, May 31.

Netweather and WXCharts predict this is when Europe’s hot spell will hit the UK, The Mirror reports. While there could be highs of 30 degrees in France, temperatures are not set to reach similar heights here.

However, it is set to be between 20 and a half years. However, the rain will be ahead and this has already started in Coventry and Warwickshire this morning (May 21).

Many householders woke up to gray skies and showers. There will be a break in the rain later today, but it is set to hit again tomorrow (May 22).

The Met Office predicts it will be “unsettled” over the Bank Holiday weekend with a mix of rain and sunshine. The latest online local forecast is as follows:

Today

A rather cloudy start to Tuesday with outbreaks of rain moving west during the morning. Some brighter spells develop, particularly later in the afternoon. Temperatures are down a bit from recent values, but close to normal for late May. Maximum temperature 18C.

This evening

A bright end to the day with sunny spells scattered across the region. It remains mostly dry overnight but some low level cloud will move in from the east. Minimum temperature 10C.

Wednesday

A dry and bright start to Wednesday with any low level cloud soon breaking and clearing. An increased chance of a few showers during the afternoon. Maximum temperature 18C.

Outlook from Thursday to Saturday

Remaining unsettled over the next few days with varying amounts of cloud and showers. These will probably merge to give more general rain on Thursday. Becoming dry and bright by Saturday.
