Coventry school where ‘caring’ pupils get Ofsted ‘good’

Staff and pupils at a Coventry school are celebrating the results of their Ofsted report. In its most recent inspection, Nicholas Chamberlaine School in Bedworth was rated ‘good’ by OFSTED in all areas.

Alison Ramsay, Chief Executive, said: “We are delighted that the achievements of our exceptionally committed and talented staff and amazing students have been recognised. Nicholas Chamberlaine is an exciting and vibrant school, establishing itself as the place of choice for young people who want to broaden their horizons and discover and develop their unique talents as leaders in the school community and beyond.




“We are committed to providing an outstanding education for all students, regardless of their starting points, backgrounds and needs.” The Ofsted report highlighted “high ethos, which combines care and performance… Pupils understand and pursue the ambition to be successful learners and Citizens of the World”

Anne Powell, Chair of Governors, said: “The Ofsted rating of ‘Good’ is a fantastic result for the young people of Bedworth and an important recognition of the school’s journey to becoming a truly Griffin Great School. Nicholas Chamberlaine School is part of the Griffin Schools Trust family of 12 schools, which include Race Leys in Bedworth and Park Lane in Nuneaton, both of which have consistently achieved results in the top 20% of primary schools in the country.
