Leeds United winger Jack Harrison is wanted by Everton for next season, while the Toffees may not be able to sanction a permanent deal so will wait until after the play-off final to push for a possible loan move.

Leeds have one game left in the season before concrete transfer plans begin for next season, knowing what division they will play in.

Winning at Wembley would obviously be a massive boost for the club, returning to the Premier League and not having the problem of selling key assets and accepting worse offers for those who have been loaned out.

Jack Harrison has confirmed in Everton’s transfer plans

Everton have released a statement confirming that Jack Harrison will initially return to Leeds after his loan at Goodison Park came to an end at the weekend.

In a statement, director of football Kevin Thelwell says plans are already in place to discuss a move with Leeds to re-sign Harrison for 24/25:

“Thanks also to Arnaut and Jack for their part in the progress our senior men’s team has made this season under Sean and his coaching staff. We will continue discussions with Leeds regarding Jack’s future in the coming weeks.”

Playoff Final: Leeds United v Southampton predictions

Harrison was loaned by Everton for the second season

Now the Daily Mirror (21/5, pg56) report that Everton’s plans for Harrison do indeed depend entirely on what Leeds do at Wembley on Sunday.

Should Leeds move up, a permanent deal is their only chance of landing him, and that would be out of the Merseyside club’s budget at the moment.

Southampton’s winner at Wembley would be a huge blow for Leeds, with Everton then plotting to take Harrison on loan for a second season.

Since Marcelo Bielsa originally signed Harrison on loan from Manchester City in 2018, the 27-year-old has only had two seasons off loan and could be on loan for a fifth if Leeds. sit down.

Leeds could do with Harrison’s burst this summer

He’s not the only player who could go out on loan in the summer if we don’t promote, and that’s a concern.

Promotion would be massive for us though, knowing we’d be looking at a solid win for the winger, whether it’s from Everton or someone else.

He has four years of experience in the Premier League and has impressed Sean Dyche in the process.
