Leeds United are planning to sign Joe Rodon permanently if they make it through the play-off final on Sunday, with the centre-back prioritizing a stay at Elland Road.

The Whites are just days away from their biggest game of the season as they take on Southampton at Wembley, looking to emulate their semi-final second leg performance against Norwich City.

Victory for Leeds would create an extremely interesting transfer window in preparation for a return to the Premier League.

Tottenham are likely to be receptive to selling their £11m 2020 signing from Swansea City and it is claimed that Leeds would bring a profit to Spurs.

The report suggests that an asking price of £12m, which rises to £15m in add-ons, is likely to do the trick for Leeds this summer.

Premier League clubs are ‘alert’ to the Welshman’s availability, so only promotion would allow Leeds to land Rodon.
