Last chance to win free tickets to Love Saves The Day supporting St Pauls Carnival

Time is running out to win two weekend tickets to Love Saves The Day and support St Pauls Carnival in the process. The annual Bristol Music Festival takes place at Ashton Court this weekend, with headline acts including Rudimental and The Streets.

To have a chance to win prize draw, which ends on Thursday, you must donate a minimum of £15 to the crowdfunding campaign. Tickets are worth nearly £300.

St Pauls CIC Carnival announced in 2023 that due to funding difficulties, the carnival would not take place this year. It is currently raising money to help support the carnival, with plans for the free Afro-Caribbean community event to return in 2025.

At the time of writing, the Love Saves The Day prize draw has raised just £75 and they have two days left to reach their £5,000 target. While entry costs £15, a £50 donation allows you to enter 10 times.

A spokesperson for St Pauls Carnival CIC wrote of the crowdfunder: “Carnival embodies this spirit of unity, celebrating diversity and community while bridging the gaps of our past. However, supporting such an iconic event requires the collective effort of businesses, citizens and institutions alike.

“Through donations, sponsorships and fundraising events, we can ensure that the vibrant heartbeat of our city continues to thrive, inspiring generations to come. In the wake of the unprecedented challenges brought by the pandemic and amid the ongoing struggle with the rising cost of living, the arts and culture sector is a beacon of resilience and hope, but also one of the most deeply affected.
