Honda’s new bike is here to rival Royal Enfield » MotorOctane

Honda has added a new bike to its 350cc range. Honda calls this new bike the CB 350 and it bears an uncanny resemblance to the bike it will rival, which is the Classic 350. Design-wise, it looks like it, but what about the other stuff? Let’s talk about all the details of the Honda CB350.

Prices and variants

Let’s talk about the price first, the CB 350 comes in two variants. The first is the base DLX variant priced at Rs 2.37 lakh and then we have the DLX Pro variant priced at Rs 2.57 lakh (on road, Mumbai). Honda has done a good job undercutting the Classic 350, which starts at Rs 2.38 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.74 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).

It seems that with the design of the CB350, Honda is taking the if you can’t beat them, join them approach. The CB350 looks like something that rolled off a Royal Enfield assembly line. Right from the telescopic front suspension to the exhaust, the CB350 looks like the Classic 350. Although it is not an original design, the CB 350 has everything to attract the buyers in this segment. In terms of colors, the CB350 comes with five color options – Precious Red, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Crust Metallic, Matte Marshall Green Metallic and Matte Dune Brown.

Specifications and features

Engine-wise, the CB350 comes with a 348cc engine capable of producing 20.8bhp and 29.4Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox with slipper clutch and assist. What about features? The top variant DLX Pro comes with all the bells and whistles. We have features like dual-channel ABS, LED lighting, a semi-digital instrument cluster and a Honda smartphone voice control system.
